COOKE, Marie F. Marie (DeVirgilio) Cooke, of Wakefield, formerly Stoneham, passed away peacefully at home on January 15th, at the age of 73. Daughter of the late John and Mary DeVirgilio. (Accardi). Loving wife of 51 years to Richard Cooke. Mother of Marlena Bresnick and her husband Lou Bresnick of Andover, and Michael Cooke and his wife Lynda Cooke of Stoneham. Loving grandmother to Jessica, Gabriella, Jamison Bresnick and Bobby Cooke. Devoted sister to Joanne Jaffe and her husband Haskell, Anthony DeVirgilio and his wife Bernadette, John DeVirgilio and his wife Beverly. Marie is one of the original owners of Accardi Foods in Medford, a successful Italian food distributor throughout New England. Marie will be remembered by her generous spirit, love for cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren.
