Herbert “Hank” L. Hardy of Everett died on April 1. He was 94 years old.
He was a retired member of ILA Local 799 of Charlestown and a member of the Old Charlestown School Boy’s Association.
He was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Vincent) Hardy; stepfather of Walter Reston and his wife, Bridget, grandfather of Scott Reston and his wife, Holly, all of Raleigh, NC, and Traci Reston of Austin, TX; brother of Ruth Connolly of Weymouth, and Richard Hardy of Pompano Beach, FL, and of the late Nellie Sheehan, Harriet Gilman, Ethel Ployer, James Hardy, George Hardy and Robert Hardy.
His Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett today, Wednesday, April 7 at 9:30 am. Followed by a service in funeral home at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In lieu on flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Grace Episcopal Church of Everett, 11 Liberty St., Everett MA 02149. Burial will be at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
